Baptism in September

On September 10th 2023 we commemorated Saint Job of Pochaev in the Divine Liturgy, and afterwards we were very happy to celebrate the baptism of our parishioners Thiago and Daniela.

Daniela is from Germany and Thiago comes all the way from Brazil! The couple moved to Norwich and converted to Orthodoxy together. They have been attending our parish for almost 2 years.

Thiago took the name Seraphim after Saint Seraphim of Sarov, and Daniela took the name Anna after Saint Anna, the Mother of the Theotokos. We are very happy to welcome them into our parish and we are very glad to see people from all over the world coming to the Holy Orthodox Church. May God grant them many years!
