Visit of Vladyka Irenei
On the Sunday of St Thomas (Anti-Pascha), May 9, 2021, Vladyka Irenei, Bishop of London and Western Europe, celebrated the Divine Liturgy in our parish. Vladyka was co-served by Father Spasimir and Deacon Timothy Phillips, who travelled from Colchester. During the service, Father Spasimir was awarded the Purple Skufia, in recognition of his ongoing service to our Mother-Church. After the service, there was tea/coffee time when Vladyka spent considerable time speaking with our parishioners.
